Android ViewPager and unlimited views

I work with ViewPager and PagerAdapter to display a day view calendar. The calendar will start today when it loads, and the user will be able to swipe left to get to tomorrow or right to get to yesterday, continuing to scroll in any direction as they want.

The final statement is a problem. Is there a way to use ViewPager with unlimited views?

If not, it is recommended that I only have 3 ViewPagers, and as custom scrolls, do I delete the previous one and add a new one? I tested my base code and was able to set the total number of views to 10,000 and asked the pager to launch me on page 5,000 and it works completely fine.

As long as there is no memory problem, I can just go this route, expecting that the user is unlikely to spend 5000 days in any direction.

This is an ideal use case for Fragments and the accompanying FragmentPagerAdapter . For really large datasets (which is similar to your case) than using the FragmentStatePagerAdapter .

It is available in the v4 compatibility pack, so you can access it on older versions of the platform.
