How to prevent MsDepSvc.exe from starting?

IIS7 seems to be interfering with my apache server. To be more precise, it asks for port 80. Killing MsDepSvc.exe fixes it, but I would like MsDepSvc.exe to start its form first.

Who knows how to do this?

If you have not solved the problem or if someone is looking for an answer: MsDepSvc.exe is the web deployment agent service process. For example, you can control its startup mode from the services console (services.msc).

I knew that these answers were correct, but my services.msc did not show services, however this led to a trick:

sc stop "MsDepSvc" sc config "MsDepSvc" start= disabled

You can also assign multiple IP addresses to your server and assign each of them to a different http server. In the network adapter settings, select ipv4 protocol / properties / advanced ... and add additional ip. You may need the help of your Internet service provider to provide you with several static public IP addresses. then for apache the configuration is done in httpd.conf and for iis, change the ListenOnly registry entry and in the IIS manager edit the "bindings" of ur web sites. As a beginner, it took me days to figure this out. Hope this helps.

To stop it manually:

sc stop "MsDepSvc"

To disable it from starting: Go to Services -> Web Deployment Agent Service - > properties-> startup-> disable

now port 80 will be free
