I would like to implement a sidebar that is displayed / hidden using custom gestures.
Sidebar - A small window that displays either on the left or on the right. It doesn't have to be huge, but large enough to span a few buttons and possibly text.
Custom Gesture - I want to show / hide the sidebar, very similar to what was done with the notification center in iOS 5. With the notification center, you place your finger at the top and swipe down. I need a similar gesture. Therefore, if the user has his finger to the left of the screen and pulls his / her finger onto the screen, then show the sidebar on the left. To hide it, just do the opposite gesture. The same goes for showing the sidebar on the right.
