How do I get only the product name from the Amazon product ad API?

Therefore, I feel that I must be missing something incredibly simple here, but I can’t figure out how to get the product name alone from the product’s advertising API.

For example, if I look at this product , I will see that the product is listed as “Ignite Stroller for the First Years” and the color “City Chic” is selected.

From the API, I can see Brand ("The First Years") and Color ("City Chic"), but the Title returns "The First Years of Ignite Stroller, City Chic", without any other obvious ways to get to "Light" only. "Stroller" or even the name that Amazon uses on its page ("The First Years Ignite Stroller").

I thought about removing Color and Brand from Title , but they are not always predictable in their design. Some products have different separators, others have size options instead of colors, etc.

Am I missing something obvious here?

As of December 19, 2018, this is not supported in the API. You may be lucky that the name is also the name of the product, but there is simply no field containing the "short name" for the product.

I believe that Amazon wants you to use their names and not invent your own.
