App Store Browsing Process for Applications That Depend on a Specific Geolocation

I am ready to present an application that relies on a user located in certain places to watch the video. (View of mashup geocaching and youtube.) Needless to say, none of these videos are in any case near Apple headquarters. So, how can App Store app users view the app correctly? Do I have to provide test data in their vicinity or can I instruct them to fake their geolocation in a place that works?

I think the best way is to just send it once, wait ~ 7 days and see what they say, but since they have special tools for testing applications, this should not be a problem.

Just be sure to mention this in the review notes.

I sent an update for an application that requires the user and password to log in and give them a test user. When I checked the server logs, they never logged in once, but the application was still approved.

iOS Simulator can "fake" its location :) Although I doubt what they consider in their process, because as soon as they accepted one of my application updates, which crashed at startup ...

I recently had to deal with this ... introduced a location app without any additional notes to the review, and the application was rejected. In the rejection notification, I was given instructions on how to create a video application in action, and then indicate the link in the review notes.

So, I used another iPhone to take the video, put some body of the explanation in the video using iMovie, upload it to YouTube, put the link in the reviewers notes, resend the application, and then approved 5 or so days later.

As I understand it, they believe that the team does NOT test the usability and stability of your application while viewing the application. All you have to do is provide a test account and some sample data, screenshots for them to understand how your application works. If the application does not show any data due to reasonable circumstances, this is not a problem of the quality of your application and use by the user, but the data coverage. This way you will not have a problem with this.
