What is a Dotted / Dotted String in SQL Management Studio - Database Diagram

I am browsing an existing database in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, and in the Database Diagram there is one relationship that appears with a dashed or dashed line. Other relationships are solid lines. What does the dashed line mean?

A dashed / dashed line means that SQL Server does not use referential integrity for this relationship. Look here
