How to update openwrt without losing configuration?

Question

I need to make a script to update my router without losing configuration files and packages installed on the router.

I tried to repeat the same interface behavior in my script (I used the sysupgrade command), but I lost the configuration.

In addition, I tried updating with an interface with the keep luci option, but it also does not work, I lost all data routers.

The sysupgrade command does not save the configuration.

Is there anyone who will offer me a solution?

You can use the Backup and Restore function from webUI (luci) to save / download configuration files to / from your PC.
