How to properly use offset inside navbar twitter bootstrap?

I am using offset1 span6 for main content and want to apply it for navbar content, but it does not work properly - see live demo .

Offsets only work in the context of .row , so add the .row class to your div in the navigation bar, and it works fine.

The trick is to a) remove "offset1 span6" from the line and make it independent, b) remove the navigation bar with the navigation bar c) Move the navigation bar inside the frame offset1 span6 div
