ERROR: Could not find "wxe_driver.so"

Question

I got this error on my ubuntu when I run the debugger: start ().

I want to know how to fix a bug in order to use the debugger?

Is erlang running on ubuntu by default? Unfortunately, ubuntu no longer has the erlang-wx package, see this for a discussion of the reasons.

I would recommend downloading the deb package from here or just building erlang from the source code.
