Visual Studio does not see Team Explorer

A few days ago I had to reinstall VS. So after uninstalling, I downloaded VS2010 Ultimate from MSDNAA and installed it. Everything went without any problems, but when I started VS, I found that there was no Team Explorer.

So, I downloaded TE from the Team Explorer link . But after installing TE, Visual Studio still does not see TE. There is no menu β†’ View and menu β†’ Tools β†’ Options β†’ Source control.

What should I do now?

Can you see Team Explorer, which is located on the tab along with the solution explorer (at the bottom of the solution browser window)? If you don’t click View β†’ Command Explorer (Ctrl + M). From there, you can connect to your TFS instance.

I assume you are using TFS. Did you connect to the TFS instance using the "Command" menu β†’ "Connect to the team foundation server"?

You need to download Microsoft Visual Studio Team Explorer 2010 from here:
