Random Remote Folder with AnkhSVN

I accidentally deleted a folder in visual studio 2010 (with AnkhSVN).

How do I go to 'undeleting' this folder?

I tried to copy the contents of the folder from another computer and marked them as "Deleted and new"? A.

Doing "Update to the latest version" does nothing.

I also have TortoiseSVN installed, but I'm also out of luck.

I havent “committed” these deletions, so its only my machine has a problem.

To return deletions to AnkhSVN, simply go to the pending changes window to the right of deleted files and folders and select "Return".

To remove what has been done is also very easy to do in ankhSVN, but scary the first time you do it. Before doing this, I would update and pass on all other changes, but I do not believe what you need.

  • Right-click on the folder containing the deleted files or folders in the visual studio and do a “history view”
  • Find the version in which these files were deleted.
  • Right-click on the revision and select "revert changes from this version"
  • All deleted files (and other changes made to this revision) will now be in your working copy.
  • Go to the pending changes window and return any changes that you do not need.
