TickCount reset event?

The MSDN documentation describes the Environment.TickCount property as the number of milliseconds since the system started. However, the return value is omitted as the number of milliseconds since the computer started.

Which one?

By the way, I consider restarting the system as a restart without turning off the computer, while I consider rebooting the computer as a shutdown and power reset.

thanks for your reply

Windows does not know the difference between reset and shutdown.

Environment.TickCount property increment only when the operating system starts; it pauses when the computer enters certain power-saving modes, such as standby mode or sleep mode. The TickCount property is not related to computer settings.
