What to include in the MSI update

I get how to configure a wix installation to update it: http://blogs.technet.com/b/alexshev/archive/2008/02/15/from-msi-to-wix-part-8-major-upgrade.aspx What should I include in the update installation program, has it just changed, or have I included everything? Inclusion of everything will mean that MSI figures out what has changed and only sets the differences.

You need to include all resources in a new package, not just new ones. As noted in the article, the main update will remove all resources installed by the first version and install them from the new one.
