Camera in Android emulator

I am using android SDK 4.0.3 and eclipse Indigo, and I am trying to develop an application that uses a camera. When I take a picture, the following message appears:

Unfortunately, the camera stopped.

In the eclipse console:

emulator: ERROR: _camera_client_query_frame: it is not possible to get the first video frame from the camera '/ dev / video0' in 2009 milliseconds: the resource is temporarily unavailable.

My OS is Debian compression. What can I do? Thanks.

The emulator camera does not work properly. You should try it on Real Device.

As Shahzad Imam said, you cannot use the camera on an emulator.

But if you can’t buy a real device, and you really need a camera, you can try transferring the video to the network from your PC, and then process it on Android, since it is a real camera. Or, if you just need a photo, you can use some image.
