Underline style for text / labels in Flex

Question

I use setStyle ("textDecoration", "underline"); to display underline when hovering over text. This works great, but the underline applies to the text itself. Is it possible to set the gap between text and underline?

Update: 02/07/2012 I am using Flex SDK 3.5, so I am not using a spark solution yet. Im uses the Label component and sets the text box style.

Although this is not an ideal solution, I recently answered a question that had somewhat similar requirements. Please be especially specific with regard to the version of Flex SDK used, as these things can vary from one to the other.

I am not aware of any style that specifically indicates the distance of the line from the text (I believe that this may be part of the font definition itself, somehow using the ascension value or something in that direction, m not quite sure how I don’t dug all this style code).
