FireBug Data Transfer Size

FireBug when using the Net panel to monitor files transferred from the site, the total size of the transferred data is indicated at the bottom of the list. Does this indicator reflect the size of the data passing through the wire or the total size of the files after gzip / zlib decompression.

If the content is gzipped, it shows the size of the compressed files. Thus, this is the real size of the network data.

... at the bottom of the query list is a summary. This summary contains information about the total number of requests, the total file size, and the total page load time.

In the query list, each entry contains information about the request, where the Size column displays the size of the response received. Thus, the total file size at the bottom displays the sum of the sizes of all responses.
