Replace the underlying data model without migration

I changed my master data model a lot. There are many questions about how to transfer old data to a new model, however I do not need to transfer anything.

I just wanted to replace the current instance of Core Data. How can I do that?

I am going to assume that you are using a persistent store coordinator with NSSQLiteStoreType . Just change the URL name for your permanent store coordinator. If the previous version used a URL called MyApp.sqlite , change it to MyAppVersionX.sqlite .
