Projection Text Editor?

  • Are there any text, projection editors? How do they work especially for updating subtrees?
  • Are there any frameworks for creating them?
  • Do you know any documents describing their design?
  • What is this parsing style called?

  • Where to start if I want to implement a text editor myself?

    • I would prefer to use EMF / ECore, but this is optional.
    • As far as I know, xText uses unidirectional conversions from text to model, or at least replaces cascading / whole Elements subtitles instead of updating them.
