How to provide android apk to the client for testing purposes?

I am currently developing an application. But when I finish developing my application and I create .apk, do I have to sign it or make it unsigned, providing my application to my client for testing on my own devices? It should not have put this apk on the market as an author / It should not have been distributed without my permission.

Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

You can sign your debug key, which is located in the windows: username /.android/debug.keystore

Password: android

Sec password: android

Edit: But if a person has any knowledge, he can simply resign with another key, you will not be able to protect yourself from this (afaik).

you do not need to sign with a debug key, android sdk does this automatically, and Android applications signed with a debug key cannot be downloaded to the market, you can get the apk file in the bin directory of your project.

  • You get a popup when apk is generated Build APK Apk (s) successfully generated. Appears in the file manager.
  • Go to https://www.diawi.com/ and register if you are a new user, otherwise log in.
  • In the link above you can find the option "Download application".
  • In this window you will find "Drag & drop files here.ipa or .zip (.app) .apk"
  • So drag the APK file or browse the apk file using the + Add file (s) button.
  • After apk download, click Submit.
  • This will result in a URL and barcode.
  • Share this URL with the person who wants to test the assembly.
