Where does the android install the add-on for the nine-patch image?

Question

As you know, a nine-patch image contains information on how to align content. So, how does android get content filling. I just can't find the appropriate code in the framework. Thanks

The left and top manuals indicate the structure that can be stretched, the right and lower recommendations indicate which rows and columns are filled (in fact, the area in which the internal content can be located).
