Force Windows Phone to use WIFI connection

How to get a Windows phone to use Wi-Fi. The problem is that when I am connected to Zune, it uses a local Ethernet connection. I need to disable this via code. How can I achieve this in a Windows 7 phone.

You can not. It is best to disconnect the USB cable because the phone will still assume that it is connected (it is still able to ping Zune and does not receive the same change in network connection events)

This makes debugging impossible, so I decided to add a log to my DEBUG assemblies.

Unable to tell the phone which connection to use.

I previously debugged this by connecting the device / phone to the PC, but then disconnecting the PC from the Internet.
This should get what you need.

Try closing Zune.exe on your desktop (or laptop) and running WPConnect.exe, and then try debugging.

Typically on an x86 system, WPConnect.exe is located in

C: \ Program Files \ Microsoft SDK \ Windows Phone \ v7.1 \ Tools \ WPConnect \ x86

or on a 64-bit system, it will be in the x64 folder.
