He did the same with me: first, he showed the location, then I installed the beta version of xcode 4.2, and then when I returned to 4.1, the location no longer showed up, and the CLLocationManager threw a location error.
I did the following and the problem was fixed (I donβt know if both actions are required or only one will be sufficient, because now it works and cannot reproduce):
Run te simulator, then:
- disconnect the network cable
- change the device to iPhone (retina): Hardware> Device> iPhone (Retina)
I did this by mistake and it fixed the location on my iMac.
