IPhone simulator 4.3 with xcode 4 does not show current location

I have xcode 4 and iphone simulator 4.3. I downloaded a sample project from the Apple developer website that shows the current location. So the code is absolutely normal. I have a mini mini with wifi. I tested this project after its launch. but after that, despite many attempts, it does not show the location and gives the location of the error search.

What is the reason for this.

You cannot find a place on the simulator. So try the device. The CLLocation class is hardware specific.

Location should be the default for Cupertino.

In Xcode 4.2 / iOS5 beta, you can specify the location for testing for the sim.

He did the same with me: first, he showed the location, then I installed the beta version of xcode 4.2, and then when I returned to 4.1, the location no longer showed up, and the CLLocationManager threw a location error.

I did the following and the problem was fixed (I don’t know if both actions are required or only one will be sufficient, because now it works and cannot reproduce):

Run te simulator, then:

  • disconnect the network cable
  • change the device to iPhone (retina): Hardware> Device> iPhone (Retina)

I did this by mistake and it fixed the location on my iMac.
