Does the facebook API allow you to search by profile, network, employer, school information in your account?

If you can develop an application that can request both user_education_history and user_work_history from your users and your users grant permissions, then you have the information you are looking for. Otherwise, you cannot receive this information directly.

Usually, when a user allows you to access their basic information in the auth dialog box (of your application), you have access to their user ID , name , profile , gender , age range , locale , network , friends list and any other information, which they published .

To access any additional information about the user or their friends, you need to ask the user for specific permissions.

You need to know more about permissions and how to request more permissions through Auth Dialogue , and then decide whether it can use facebook api (to get access to user training history, work history, etc.) or not.

It states that:

You can search all publicly accessible objects in the social graph.

since the details of work and education require additional permission to read, they are not public objects and therefore cannot be found.
