SQL Server does not have a reserve for viewing past deadlocks. You must start an active trace with the trace flags set. The link Robert Harvey mentioned above is a great place to start. You can also use SQL Server Profiler and specify the event type Locks-> Deadlock Graph and make sure that the TextData column TextData specified to get a different view of the deadlock graph. I personally find Profiler tracing easier.
