Is there a Delphi 5 component that can handle .png files?
You can use TPNGImage. Download from hereYou can also check out Delphi PNG libraries here
TMS and DevExpress can process png files.
I believe that the progdigy GDI + delphi interface can be used with D5. This is not a simple plugin to support PNG, but, on the other hand, it can download a wide variety of file types. So this is another option if all else fails.
I use the wonderful components of Hi Image for the year:

Very powerful and very comprehensive.
Best of all: now it's free.
