I need to play multimedia files in Java. I studied JMF and FMJ, however both of them have not been updated for several years.
Is there any open source Java project for multimedia playback?
Thanks.
I am using VLCJ (http://code.google.com/p/vlcj/) and have worked well with it. He embeds his own VLC player in the AWT / Swing app. Since VLC supports many codecs, I think this is a good choice. Unfortunately, you need to install VLC.
