Android - creating images and icons

Question

I am working on an Android application that requires some kind of design, but I am mostly a developer with a little knowledge of material development, and I work on projects alone. Can someone please help me on how to go with design or good links, where can I find out? You can also provide some links that will become a tool where I can create decent icons and images for my Android application.
