Sbt Unresolved Dependencies (Invalid command: gen-idea)

Question

I am trying to get sbt for creating Intellij IDEA project files using the sbt-idea plugin as described here .

I looked at the page with the problems of the project, as well as Googled widely, however I did not find anyone else with this problem, making me believe that the problem is somewhat unusual and may be related to the problem with my setup ..

If anyone could shed light on this, that would be very helpful.

Two changes help solve this problem and a number of other minor issues:

• I deleted this line:

  addSbtPlugin ("de.undercouch"% "sbt-docbook-plugin"% "0.2-SNAPSHOT")

  from / project / plugins.sbt

• I no longer run sbt commands from the command line, I exclusively use the sbt console. That $ sbt gen-idea works, fails, and gen-idea in the sbt console succeeds, it seems a little strange to me. If I find out why, I will definitely update the comment.

I solved the problem by clearing the ~ ~ .ivy2 and ~ ~ .sbt directories, as suggested in this thread on the official sbt-idea website.
