Does anyone know where I can find a jquery slider similar to the one found on the new website http://www.bbc.co.uk . Not interested in the actual functionality of the slide (IE. All images and links in the slide). This is a full-screen carousel loop that I am after, with navigation.
The bbc site actually uses a custom javascript library called glow . you can see this :
Alternatively, you can also use this slider.
The example http://coolcarousels.frebsite.nl/c/2/ is very similar to the BBC version and uses this plugin: http://caroufredsel.frebsite.nl/
http://www.paulwelsh.info/jquery-plugins/hero-carousel/ - This is a pretty simple version and responsive too!
Hope this helps. Unfortunately, this is not well documented, but some guy on SO created a fiddle in Problems with the implementation of the Carousel Slider slider
