At the time of this writing, custom CSS filters, formerly known as CSS shaders, are not available in any browser. They were an experimental feature available in WebKit Nightly and Chrome (under the flag) for a while, but have since been removed.

No modern browser supports CSS Shaders or its later name, CSS Custom Filters.

Support for CSS Shaders was discontinued by Webkit in January 2014.

Chrome has some support, and I think FF may have some of them. I don’t have a link to articles in Chrome, but all this is very new.

If the browser supports each function HTML5 and CSS3. The only one who supports it is now Chrome, I think.
