Disable image upload in Android browser

Question

how to disable functionality in Android browsers, where the user can press and hold, as well as display and open the Save Image pop-up dialog box.

for ios devices, -webkit-touch-callout:none; works, but it doesn’t seem to affect Android browsers.

attach an event handler for the click event that calls event.preventDefault (). At least this worked for me when using the default ICS web browser, chrome beta and opera mobile.
