What is the maximum number of documents that can be stored in the MongoDB collection?

I could not find the answer using google search. I know that the database has a default limit of 16 thousand. Or so, but what is the limit on the number of documents that can be stored in the collection?

There is no hard limit.

You may have problems with your RAM and / or disk before you hit this (non-existent) limit.

You can also increase the size of the namespace and get more collections (but you probably already know that).
