I am trying to tweet an image from an iOS5 application with this code:
TWTweetComposeViewController *tweeter = [[TWTweetComposeViewController alloc] init]; [tweeter addImage:image];
I think my EXIF ββis being deleted, but I'm not sure if it is my fault, the iOS code on Twitter or the Twitter service. I have not yet found a reliable answer, but how can I post photos with geotags on twitter? seemed to point to Twitter, and the photo-sharing on Twitter starts live for all users who had this in their news feed:
Photographers will be interested to know that all EXIF ββdata, information that determines which equipment was used for photography, as well as the settings used, are deleted from photos after loading
I am trying to find an official source or better authority than my code. I also tried to tweet the image from the Photos app, which seems to have lost EXIF ββ(location) data after uploading.
