Cocoa cursor dragging is not always displayed

I have an NSTableView that is registered to drag and drop to external files. At first, the plus pointer (copy) is displayed, but the mouse leaves the table and returns, the cursor does not go back to the plus cursor.

How can I make sure the correct cursor is shown?
