How to edit the floating view added to the scene dock in the storyboard?

I have a view controller on my storyboard configured with a table view. I want to have another view as a floating view on top of a table view. So, I drag the view (actually a toolbar object) and place it on the scene dock so that in the code I can add it to the subviews and arrange it so that it floats. I have no questions about coding; just lay out the view in the storyboard.

How to open a view object added to the scene dock so that I can add buttons to it, etc. And create it visually?

I know that this is possible, since I did it by accident in another project. The toolbar was located in the dock of the view controller and displayed separately with its scene dock. This is very frustrating, knowing that it can be done, but not knowing how to do it!

Ok, so I did it (also by accident).

I created (IBAction) and tried to connect to the button. Therefore, I type a line from my code onto the button (in the list of items). For some reason, he didn’t connect, so it seemed like he was pointing at him for a few seconds.

Suddenly, a view (with a button) appeared and appeared next to my uiview manager, as you described. I also did this by accident, but this is the first time I have managed to get it to work for me.

Let me know if this works for you too!

I don’t know how to show the view, as in the picture, but for the visual presentation of the visual presentation, for example, as a chapter on my TableView , design it and return it to the dock. This is only a workaround, but it helps me.

All I needed was to drag the interface object (in my case it was a UISlider) from the object explorer on the right to the view that I wanted to pop up in the scene explorer on the left.
