Application Domain: Invalid Domain. The site url is not a valid url

I have a domain in http://qotr.net that I am trying to configure as an application in order to use OAuth. It was created a few weeks ago, and we just finished implementing OAuth hooks in our application when Facebook started giving us errors.

Now, when I go to the settings page and edit something, I get:

Error Application Domain: qotr.net is not a valid domain. The site URL is not a valid URL.

I have: qotr.net for the application domain and http://qotr.net for the site URL.

http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2Fqotr.net

Reports that it cannot parse qotr.net. The site is clearly accessible and useful, and Google OAuth is working.

I can not find anything on the Internet, why it can not make out correctly; any ideas?

In the application domain, enter the domain of your site without http: // or www. Just enter, say, for my iamzang.com site

For the site URL below the page, enter http://iamzang.com/

This will do the trick. I got the same error before and with this the domain is no longer valid.

First you need to add the platform. There you enter the full domain, for example. http://www.yourdomain.com . Then set the application domain to yourdomain.com!

On the facebook application registration page, in the section "Settings" → "Basic" → "Basic information", try entering both domains in the "Domains" application space (with and without www)

Do not write anything in the application domain in the "Basic Information" section. Instead, in the "Choose how your application integrates with Facebook" section, click on the check: Website with Facebook Login, which will give you a place to write url on your website ( http://qotr.net ).

I just got this working using "domain.com" in the application domain field and "http://www.domain.com" in the site URL field. Hope this helps.
