The default username and password for TFS2010 set as localhost

Merry Christmas everyone!

I installed Team Foundation Server 2010 with advanced configuration, but I left the default settings (for example, the service account: NT AUTHORITY \ LOCAL SERVICE and others) ...

Everything is fine until I dialed http://localhost:8080/tfs , and there he asks for a username and password.

What is the default username and password? During the configuration, I did not specify a single username and / or password.

I typed the name of my Windows account but it doesn’t work.

Help me please...

thanks

TFS uses Windows accounts for its permissions. If you are registering for a workstation setup, and not for one connected with AD, remember that you need to specify the name of your computer as part of the username, for example MACHINE \ michaels.

To set up new projects, you first need to start using the administrator account - if your normal username is not a Windows administrator, and then log in using the administrator username and password (you can grant permissions for your regular account You can also use security groups Windows on the machine to add itself - a local group will be created called “Team Foundation Admins.” MSDN has a list of Windows groups that you can configure.

You have set up a service account in LOCAL SERVICE. Please change this to NETWORK SERVICE. The input field that you receive is not included in the TFS system, but for access to your resources. The LOCAL SERVICE account does not have sufficient privileges to work with TFS.

If you do not have NETWORK SERVICE, use a regular Windows account.

See the TFS 2010 Installation Guide for more information.

Yes, of course, this works with your Windows account, but in my case I have my hotmail email account associated with my windows .. so I just used my email address and password for this, I share a screenshot, this first default page after login.
