Simulate a USB drive from a PC

I have a peculiar question. The fact is that I have a TV that can use a USB drive for playing movies as a source. Do you think that you can directly connect a PC and a USB TV to USB and use some kind of software interface to determine how the PC will act as a flash drive. I think this can be done with a hardware driver, but I wonder if it can be done without it.

No, you can’t even write a new driver.

A flash drive is a USB device, but there are only USB host ports on your computer. There are different circuits needed in the device against the host (there are circuits that can do both, called USB on the go, but they are found only in peripheral devices).

Actually, you can - sort of.

This is a special adapter with a built-in Wi-Fi adapter that allows you to connect to a computer (or the Internet).

Not quite what you requested, but the effect is similar.
