Magento print package for printing before shipping

Question

How to print a packing list before the order status is “completed” (ie before shipment?) The current workflow is a little back, especially if you use the packing list as a pick list in the warehouse.

Optional: solution that supports updating.

Get a paid module if time is money, otherwise get confused by the above link or write your own module. Watching the creation of an order and sending an order email can be one way if you want it to be configured with attributes not in a regular email. Otherwise, cc new orders for the account, print them and take them to the warehouse.

I spent hours searching the Internet for a solution to this problem and finally used

' Printing packing lists (pre-sent) '.

I did not bother to purchase any of these extensions to see how they realized the ability to print before sending, but I was able to do it myself quite easily.

It seems that they do not have only an admin interface, but it turns out that there are numerous models that support the getPdf method.

• Creditmemo
• Invoice
• Shipment
• Packaging

The difference between calling getPdf on Invoice instead of Shipment is the lack of tracking information in the PDF file.

For this, you do not need third-party add-ons. You can simply click "Send Shipment" before you pack it, and everything will be all right.

You can then print the packing list, pack it, and actually send it.

You can then add the tracking number and send the customer’s email by clicking the “Send Tracking” button.

How am i doing this.
