NSButtonCell in NSTableView: Click Processing

Question

I set NSButtonCell as the cell type in the Table Column in my NSTableView . I implemented the IBAction method, but I can’t connect it using NSButtonCell in IB - the wire does not want to select the button from the NSTableView .

How to connect a method using NSButtonCell ? Or maybe there is another way to handle the click event?

You should be able to connect the connection from the cell by controlling + dragging and dropping onto any object in your NIB. Just make sure that the cell is actually selected and that your action is defined as an IBAction in the object's header file. In your action method, you can determine which row was selected by calling [tableView clickedRow] .

Edit: here is a demo. Make sure you select the checkbox at least four times to select it, hold down the control key and drag it from the cell to your object.
