A green Sign Up button will appear on Facebook Like Box

When you are not logged into Facebook, a green “Register” button sometimes appears on top of Facebook Like Box (using the iFrame version). Sometimes I say because it does not appear when I exit FB in my main Chrome browser (which I usually use Facebook), but it appears in FF (so far set to 8) MSIE (checked at 9).

The main problem that I encounter with the button is that the layout is incompatible and sometimes seems broken (I have screenshots, but I cannot post them here because I'm a new user).

So my question is: delete this button or the entire heading "create and account"? If not, any suggestions on how I could look like in FF and MSIE?

Thanks Henrik

This is a cookie problem, as this ugly green “Sign Up” button appears in any browser that you never used to sign in to Facebook.

I had the same problem in different browsers, and if you try to clear your cookies in your favorite browser, you will see a green button again, regardless of browser.

If you use the likebox plugin in iframe mode, this can be avoided by discarding the parameters of the public profile, that is, by setting "stream" and "show_faces" to false.

This is an iframe example that works:

<iframe scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:245px; height:75px;" src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/likebox.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fonglesetpaillettes81 &amp;width=245&amp;height=100&amp;colorscheme=dark&amp;show_faces=false&amp;border_color=%23D4A7AD&amp;stream=false&amp;header=false"> </iframe>

Hope this helps.
