What regular expression does jQuery use to validate their email?

JQuery can check email addresses:
http://docs.jquery.com/Plugins/Validation

What regular expression (if any) does jQuery use to validate their email?
I would like to do something similar except using javascript regex.

Thanks!

update:

Why am I asking?
I use it for the pattern attribute of my elements.

I ended up using this:

^\ S+@ (([a-zA-Z0-9]([a-zA-Z0-9\-]{0,61}[a-zA-Z0-9])?\.)+[a-zA-Z]{2,6})$

He uses this regular expression, borrowed from Scott Gonzalez ...

/^((([az]|\d|[!#\$%&'\*\+\-/=\?\^_`{\|}~]|[ -퟿豈-﷏ﷰ-￯])+(\.([az]|\d|[!#\$%&'\*\+\-/=\?\^_`{\|}~]|[ -퟿豈-﷏ﷰ-￯])+)*)|((\x22)((((\x20|\x09)*(\x0d\x0a))?(\x20|\x09)+)?(([\x01-\x08\x0b\x0c\x0e-\x1f\x7f]|\x21|[\x23-\x5b]|[\x5d-\x7e]|[ -퟿豈-﷏ﷰ-￯])|(\\([\x01-\x09\x0b\x0c\x0d-\x7f]|[ -퟿豈-﷏ﷰ-￯]))))*(((\x20|\x09)*(\x0d\x0a))?(\x20|\x09)+)?(\x22)))@((([az]|\d|[ -퟿豈-﷏ﷰ-￯])|(([az]|\d|[ -퟿豈-﷏ﷰ-￯])([az]|\d|-|\.|_|~|[ -퟿豈-﷏ﷰ-￯])*([az]|\d|[ -퟿豈-﷏ﷰ-￯])))\.)+(([az]|[ -퟿豈-﷏ﷰ-￯])|(([az]|[ -퟿豈-﷏ﷰ-￯])([az]|\d|-|\.|_|~|[ -퟿豈-﷏ﷰ-￯])*([az]|[ -퟿豈-﷏ﷰ-￯])))$/i

There is no difference between the regular expression used in the jQuery plugin than regular JavaScript regular expression.
