Why Xcode 4.2 does not support second-generation iPod Touch running iOS 4.2.1

I recently upgraded to Xcode 4.2 to support SDK 5.0, but since I did, one of my testers, who has a second-generation iPod touch running iOS 4.2.1, cannot use my advertisements

My goal is to configure the Base SDK: 5.0 (latest version) and the Target 3.2 deployment tool to allow this. I am also confident in the iOS version of the tester since it registered with testflightapp.

The error that he sees is something like this: "your device is running 4.2.1, which is less than the required version (4.3) for this assembly"

I also notice that I only see versions 4.3 and 5.0 in my circuits. Is there anything that needs to be adjusted?

Go to Xcode Settings -> Download and install support 4.0-4.1. You should be able to maintain <4.3 then.
