Why we just can't download the Javadocs SWT jar file from the main website

For almost every library, I came to see a link to javadocs jar to download, simple and simple. Why is there no jar in SWT? and if there is why it is not on their site ..

Please note that I know that there is a version in the Eclipse help, and there is an online version that I cannot link to make it not check the reason for it in php! Index.html not found

Although this is not what I'm looking for, I tried it, I use SWT.jar, and I want to attach javadocs jar to it, so when CTRL + Space selects the method, I just see the documents right away, etc. You know..

Well, I knew that this question did not arouse much interest, so I gave him another try, and I returned because I do not want anyone to waste 1 hour trying to understand something like that.

• Download swt zip
• Go to eclipse and upload an existing project
• you will find src.zip in this project
• unzip src.zip and copy the folder "org" org \ eclipse \ swt ..
• paste this folder into src (inside the project)
• select org folder in eclipse, then go to project -> generate javadocs
• If you are on Windows, you will probably click (Configure) to pick up the Javadoc.exe file in the C: \ programFiles \ java \ jdk-xyz \ bin \ folder
• select where you want to delete the doc files, then complete
• OK, just go to the files and write them down, PS zip files do not zip up the folder containing the files that appear when loading documents into the archive and make sure that it does not see index.html

if you want to know how to download the archive, google it in (in the project properties → java buildpath → library tab → swt jar → add jar → add your SWT.jar, then expand and edit the javadoc location ..

The proposed method for developing SWT applications is as follows: Developing SWT applications using Eclipse . Each eclipse download page includes a SWT section with full SWT source records.

The second way, as already mentioned, is to look in the eclipse/plugins directory and use 2 arches compatible with it:

• org.eclipse.swt.gtk.linux.x86_64_3.7.0.v3735b.jar
• org.eclipse.swt.gtk.linux.x86_64.source_3.7.0.v3735b.jar

The source tank can be attached to provide javadoc. Javadoc (for most of the API that comes with eclipse) is stored in the bank eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.platform.doc.isv_3.7.0.v20110602-0800.jar . If you unzip this, it should be in reference/api

I know that Eclipse is setting up the maven repository, although a quick scan of org.eclipse.swt detected only 3.6.2 binaries and source. See http://maven.eclipse.org . They are still in the follow-up phase.
