Is the MetaWeblog API Supported?

Is the MetaWeblog API Supported? I ask because, by examining XMLRPC, the Cook Computing library and implementing the MetaWeblog API, I clicked on a link that led me to MSDN , which indicates the topic has been deleted.

There is a link there that will lead me to new documents for the Windows Live SDK. On the new page, I can not find current information about MWAPI.

I use EF, MV3 and VB.Net.

MetaWeblog API support has always seemed to me (at best). Having seen how the project has not been updated since 2003 ( http://www.xmlrpc.com/metaWeblogApi ), I think we can safely assume that support has essentially ceased. What is my .02 anyway.
