How to communicate between Android Broadcast Receiver and RemoteService

I have an Android app that contains a remote service that I want to use to process data sent via BroadcastReceiver.

What would be the best way to send data from BroadcastReceiver to a remote service? My first intention was Bind using RemoteServiceConnection, but this is not supported in BroadcastReceiver. Any help is much appreciated!
