Is the AuthenticablePrincipal.LastLogon Property LastLogOnTimeStamp value?

In system.directoryservices.accountmanagement property LastLogon replicated on all domain controllers, or is it the last value of the LastLogon property obtained from comparing all available DC domains?

I can not find in MSDN where this property matters.

The LastLogon property of the AuthenticablePrincipal class reads the lastLogonTimestamp property from an Active Directory object. You can verify this by following these steps:

  • Opening Active Directory - Snapin MMC users and computers on a domain controller.
  • Additional Selct functions from the View menu.
  • Right-click the Active Directory object (user) that will map to the AuthenticablePrincipal object and select properties.
  • Select the Attribute Editor tab. There you will find the LastLogon and lastLogonTimestamp .

On my test system (.Net Framework 4.0, Active Directory 2008 R2), the LastLogon property of the AuthenticablePrincipal class is mapped to the lastLogonTimestamp property for the selected Active Directory object.

Hope this helps.
