Create Spotify-like Looks

To be more clear. I am trying to create an application in which the taskbar and JPanel (for example) are the same color so that they look connected. Just the same as tap!

My way to do this was frame.setUndecorated(true); and then draw your own background and add photoshop jbuttons as output etc. It works, but! This is not very professional, and not “right,” I want to do it in a ghostly way. I think they use C ++ in Spotify, but they like java more. Will this be a problem? is this a piece of cake in c ++? please give me directions.

I think Substance or JGoodies has similar themes; more about free Swing Look and feel

For a substance, you cannot set frame.setUndecorated(true); because there it also modifies the ToolBar.

EDIT:
