Why does the cancelAllLocalNotifications call delete / clear the Notification Center?

Question

Using cancelAllLocalNotifications should basically cancel the delivery of all scheduled local notifications . But he goes ahead and clears the story, and as a result, the Notification Center does not show the last 1/5/10 of the last articles / notifications.

I'm not sure if this is a mistake or is it intentional?

Perhaps I should use cancelLocalNotification: to cancel only the scheduled local notifications (which are scheduled to run in the future). But will this affect the local notification limit of 64 ?

I reported this as an error for Apple. Maybe this is intentional, or maybe not. I ended up using cancelLocalNotification: instead of cancelAllLocalNotifications .
