Unable to adjust winform width

Whenever I try to increase the width of the form in the VS 2008 properties window, it simply resets my change back to 1300. It allows me to reduce the width, but not increase by more than 1300. How can I fix this? I have a datagrid in a form that has a width of over 1300.

Windows in Windows cannot be greater than screen resolution.

In the code (for example, in the form designer) you can set any width you want, and it will be limited by the resolution of the end-user screen at run time.

Your form should not be so big; consider changing your user interface and / or using scroll bars.

you should check the property Form.MaximumSize.Width

Property Form.MaximumSize

therefore, if you need to increase one or two, make sure MaximumSize is also updated to your new values.

Edit: SLaks is true that you still can't have a shape bigger than a monitor ...
